ah 4am, the perfect time of the day, or night, or morning, or...what the hell you get the idea.
i am sitting here drinking from my 3rd bottle of Perrier of the day, as far as i am concern its the only thing the French did right.
i been sitting here refining my surgery plan, i am still a go for the 22nd, it even becomes more a reality when i do all the preop stuff this week, when that is done i know there is not stopping it, sometimes you can get a case of the "cowards" but that is not really me, the die is cast, lets get the damn thing done, but i mentioned a plan.
i am planning on pulling a joke on my surgeon i am taking a couple old props and making them into a new prop, i have the following.
1. an old Steve Martin arrow though the head gag.
2. a pair of Halloween Frankenstein bolts
3. superglue
4. and a un-hinged mind.
I intend to cut the arrow ends off of the old Steve martin gag, glue on the Frankenstein bolts in their place and the day after surgery place them on my neck (gingerly that is) so when the surgeon walks in and ask me how i am doing i will replay that i feel strange and when he looks up he should see the bolts on my neck and i am hoping at that point to make him lose it.
i try and bring a little humor into my life when i can, which is strange, as most of you know i mainly am a cranky person most of the time, well that's till you get to know me then you realize i am a cranky person all the time, but i do have a funny streak.
well that's my plan, i also plan to have pictures taken of me in the contraption and i will post them afterwards, i am also planning on asking my doctor if i can get surgery pictures i have come to find out that they now take lots of pictures and sometimes film the operations, my thoughts on that is that way they can prove they did not leave sponges, forceps, the McDonald's super deluxe frappe ice coffee drink in the operating field.
and i am sure i can convince them to share, well if not i will loan them my camera, maybe i can get them to all pose in the middle of the operation hanging over my open neck doing the "thumbs up" gesture..wait, that's not a thumb..damn them
have a good morning, i get to take my dog to the vets, she is not feeling well, but once she knows we are heading to the vets i will bet she will try and convince me that all is well, damn, gotta love that dog.
take care all
