Tomorrow is the day, a nice quick cut across my throat and it will be all over, well that is just a wish, but in the case of this stage, the physical remains will be gone, removed, tossed into a tray itself to be cut and dissected and stared at under a microscope, i hope it likes it as much as i do.
I still do not know the time of the operation (now you know why the title) they are to call me sometime today and let me know, if i do not hear from them by 2pm it's all off , right?
well no, i am suppose to call them and find out, want to make a bet? they will not call me, i will end up calling them and after they tell me the time i will get something like this with the reply "well we were just going to call you" yeah, right, i bet they live for that.
When i talked to the surgeon on the 16th, i asked him what the outcome can be, i mean whats the best/worse case scenario's? he informed me that there are three possible outcomes, and they are, drum roll please.
1. They open me up, look and find that the tumor area is really just a mass of scar tissue make sure there is nothing else close me back up and walk away, he told me that is its just scar tissue there is no sense disturbing the facial nerve area so he will just walk away.
2. They open me up, find the tumor, take it out, send it to the lab and have them sample it, find out that its benign they do a light clean up and then close me up and i walk away with no nerve damage all is good, till the next time.
3. They open me up, find the tumor, take it out, send it to the lab, find that its malignant and at that point they will need to close me back up, wake me up and talk about it, because it will involve a little more then just a light clean up, it will involve a full neck resection and he will need a lot more time for that.
let me say one thing right now, we do not think option three is going to happen, but he gives all possible outcomes, that is what i expect of him, and that's what i told him i wanted from day one, i do not want a repeat of "gee, that looks like a infected tonsil" to end up as "gee, i think i made a mistake"
that is not going to happen again.
I will post before and after shots of the surgery, i am sure some of you will find that interesting, some will find it sickening, and as you know i just live to give you all what you want.
Some see life as "confetti" i am seeing it as "clown vomit" now,
Have a good day all, make those that pay your wages pay for the honor of you being there.
