I was sent over to USC Medical School to get a second opinion and all i can really say it was pretty close to the first opinion, i think the technical term is "your screwed" !.
well in reality its a little different, the Doctors at USC seems to think that is the SCC has not invaded my spinal muscle area and they Skin me aggressively (that operate in their terms) that i may have around a 40% chance of two years, little bit better then 20%, but this is also dependent on if they can operate, they were going to refer my MRI films to their team Radiologist so he can read them and see what kind of shape i am really in, and this was last Thursday.
He said he would call me on Friday and when i did not hear from him by 7pm i kind of guessed he got busy, since i had not been feeling well i had went to bed to read, that's why i did not hear the phone ring at 8.20PM when he called, he did not leave much of a message, so i am going to have to wait until i hear from my doctor to see whats up,
aside from that my stress factor has been a little higher then normal, my feeding is off all that translates into a quick drop of around 10 pounds, not a good thing for me, makes me feel sick and weak, well, i guess that's because i am sick, and well feeling weak.
I get to go stop by the Chao Cancer Center tomorrow and meet my new chemo doctor to see if there is anything he (or she) can do for me, i will post about my meeting with her after i am done.
The doctors at USC did describe the operation they are considering, when he started off about "splitting your lower jaw open" my brain shut down right there, if anyone wants to know more, drop me a line, i will tell you more, but that is a picture of the first part of the operation, i think i seen this in the movie "Blade Trinity"
