Morning all, or should i say afternoon, out of the Doctors and it did not go well, so here it is in a nutshell.
Oh Shit!!!!
I have necrotic tissue in my mouth growing to the back and to the right and making a "b" line to the carotid (Sp) artery, it looks bad, they had me over to TotalCare Pre-op this morning for a biopsy planned for tomorrow morning at 8.30am, does this sound good to you?
They will clean out the wound, see how far it has progressed down my throat and see how we can proceed,
Dr. Kim (the surgical ENT) is already contacting the next doctor in line and getting him briefed on my case, but it looks like i will be heading for a full neck resection but to what degree i will not know till after i meet with the new doctor.
But basically, realistically i think i will be looking for a complete soft tissue removal of the right side of my neck, i am tring to convince them to fill in the empty space with "silly putty" Dr. Kim did not get the joke.
I will post more later, i am sitting here posting this while i am getting the tire replaced on my work van, oh yeah, I had a flat tire when i got out of the doctors this morning, what else can go wrong i ask...
