Day 3 and 4 36 Days to Go

I figured you did not need to hear about day 3, nothing special happened yesterday, well aside from the continued assult on my ears from that Lionel Ritchie person, one person’s “easy listening” is another’s personal hell.

Today though I was prepared, I brought a CD of my type of music, something that is bearable yet strangely relaxing (well to me) .

As I was going in I asked the tech about the music, was it piped in? was it a CD? A tape? She told me it was a CD, so I asked her if I could play the CD I brought because I kind of dislike Lionel Ritchie, so she agreed.

After I was locked in and starting the treatment, I hear the music stop, and mine start, after a few seconds i hear the laugh of the tech, she got a kick out of the first song, I don’t know why, it was a song called “Radiation ranch” by Brian Setzer .

Yuppers, I am a smartass,

Well today after I spent 25 minutes getting roasted by radiation I am now sitting in the parking lot next door (well after I dropped off parts at FED-EX) waiting to see Dr. Reddy, he is my Chemo Doctor, he is ready to start on me now.

I am starting to think of this in cooking terms, I have Dr. Kwon he is the Rotisseur (radiation is cooking the tumor), I have Dr. Reddy, who is my Saucier (the Chemo is going to be the sauce that preps the meat. me),

So I am going to find out what fun Dr. Reddy will have for me today, I will update that later after I am done with him, till then
