Surgical Comments Part 3

Well its 2am again and guess where i am? that's right Kats and Kittens, i am here posting mundane cancer news about me in my sad humor styling.

I figured out the shaving bit as you know by now, the one thing i am still working on is this, how does one wear a phone headset when many a different part of your ear is either numb, painful or just itching all the time?

the answer most of you are screaming at me is "well use the other ear you twit" well i did, and that is just weird, its like getting up and dating your sister (so i been told, i had another comment but i try and keep the blog clean), i (for some strange reason) have a problem putting the headset in, it takes way longer then when its in my right ear, when the phone rings i try and reach up and hit the answer button, forgetting its in the other side and end up poking myself in my ear, i am going to break down and wear a wired headset, i have not done that in years.

but aside from that aspect things are going pretty good, the side of my face is still numb, it's not painful at least, i still find it strange that different areas react different ways my outer ear is numb, my inner ear is normal, the area at the base of the lobe is painful to the touch(so i don't touch it) but the skin at the top is, is, i am not sure what it is, it does not hurt really, but it is somewhat painful, just an irritating pain not worth popping an extra pain pill for, but it lets you know its there.

The cutter that did this to me has done a great stitch line, i have said this before, and i will say it again, you know when the do a good job when other doctors compliment the line, i saw my regular pain doc today and he was impressed, he studied it for about 5 minutes while i was in there and was just impressed, complimented him on how he was hiding the incision in the "natural fold" of the neck, i guess most cutters who do this just slice and let it lay where it lays, i don't mind a good scar, i have a many of them, but it makes me feel nice when the other compliment him, means he is as good as i know he was, it validates my opinion.

Well i return to work Monday, i should be good to go, the van is washed, the van now run, seems the battery ran down since it has not been driven in 3 weeks, thanks for stopping by and jump starting my van Bob.
