And I thought i was doing so good - Part 3

Well as always when i am put in the hospital i need to do a follow up with my trusty new Doctor a week after i am released, so today was that day.

I been doing sort of OK, at least i thought i was, last night (11/22/2009) i was bopped on the left side of my face by Sasha the warrior puppy and it hurt like hell, the left side is the side that was not infected.

So i went and saw my Doctor today and it looks like the left side is getting infected, its swollen, tender and has little bumps, I am so happy.

That was bad news #1, Bad news #2, the thrush and sores in my mouth seemed to be better, well i was wrong there i guess, i now seem to have a raging viral infection to go along with the raging bacterial infection, well if you can't win, go out in style huh?

Bad news #3, i lost another 24 pounds, i am now down to 274 (and that was with my vest, phone, water bottle so that's probably -3 more, i usually don't weigh in holding them) this is the one that bothers me the most, i thought i might have gained a couple pounds, or at least held my weight, but i am not, i am not sure what is causing the weight loss, the doc says not to worry, it might be related to the mouth issues so we will no more in 10 more days, because that's when the 4 new drugs i am taking will be over and i have to go back.

I felt better at times on radiation, sheesh what does a guy have to do around here to be able to eat a cheeseburger? fries would be nice also.

Last week i was able to eat a green salad for the first time since August, now i have learned that most salad dressings contain vineger and that's bad when your mouth is messed up, but if i make the dressing from the packets no vinegar and all is well.

well i thought i would check in, i will add more shortly, it will be fun with prescriptions, i have one that has something interesting written on the label that you all will laugh at , well at my expense.
