Day16 24 Days to go

was am interesting day, as i mentioned yesterday i have lost some weight, well that comes on with no intake of food and fluids, i can live without the food, the fluids are a different story.

But starting today i have a standing appointment (or just stop by) and they will load me up with the chemo's patients favorite drink, take 2 x IV bags, add a little shot of steroids into it and top off with a good shot of B-12, well that and book as you lay there for 2 hours getting hydrated.

Dr. Kwon's and Dr. Reddys people were very nice in this matter, they got me in, got me hydrated and made my damn headache go away.

Dr. Kwon's people also came up with a new med they wanted me to try its called Caphosol, it is two liquids you mix together (in a clean glass, that what it says on the box) you take 1/2 in your mouth, swish and hold for 60 seconds, get rid of, repeat.

This is the first time my mouth has felt clean since July 1, i was given some samples, i will buy this after i see the nurse tomorrow, good stuff.

So the fun and the terror that was today also, i get my IV's, get done, walk over to the Radiation clinic (next door to each other) get locked onto the table and start relaxing, made it 1/2 way through when the fire alarm went off, yes the fire alarm went off, but since i was in the safest room in the building, they told me they were checking it out, and if it was a real emergencey that they would come and get me, we were only 4 shots left of finishing so they finished.

we get done, we get out, found out it was not a drill, one of the elevator motors seized up and caught fire, there was a handy,am on the roof already, he put it out with a fire extinguisher, so no harm, no foul, no extra day added on.

i thought about it later, you are in a room, you are locked down on a table, and a fire breaks out, you can't get off the table because of the locked down mask, and even if i was to get off of there, where in the hell am i going to go? the door to that room is like a bank vault door, the walls are lead/ concrete, and any other way you look at it, i was in the safest place in the building.

that was my day...its almost 02.30, i am up and keeping watch...
